We are so pleased to announce that Carmen will be doing the evening keynote on Friday, February 16 at 7 p.m. at the Write to Learn Conference.
The Write to Learn Conference is an amazing annual professional development opportunity for Language Arts teachers from Kindergarten all the way through college level. From incredible keynotes, to full-day workshops, this conference has a lot to offer. The theme this year is “E3: Engagement, Empathy, Empowerment.” We can’t wait to see everyone there!
We’ve had an incredible and amazing summer so far! Carmen has been all over the country, but a few highlights have been spending time at the Michigan Reading Association Conference, Columbia University’s Teachers College, and the International Baccalaureate Conference of the Americas. Here are a few photos and tweets from some of the participants. Thank you all! Carmen has loved spending time with you.
Carmen will be speaking at the Southern Conference on Language Teaching (SCOLT) next week. If you are going to be in Atlanta March 5-7, be sure to check it out. Carmen will be doing the Opening General Session Keynote, Friday, March 6 at 9:30 a.m. There will be a book signing to follow.
Check out the entire program here. This years theme is “All that Glitters is SCOLT.” You won’t want to miss it!
